Turkey Talk

Some days you're fired up. Some days you're exhausted.

Some days you just want to eat your lunch in peace without having to explain yourself to anyone.

Frankie gets it — all of it.

Whether you're out there with a megaphone or quietly living your values in a world that doesn't share them, carrying this is heavy. You shouldn't have to carry it alone.

This is Frankie.
This is turkey talk.

Who is Frankie for?

The Quiet Vegan

Just living it, not trying to change anyone, but carrying the weight of existing in a world that doesn't share your values. The grocery store. The family dinner. The comment you let slide and then felt guilty about.

The Advocate

Actively trying to educate and influence, through conversation and relationship. Worn down by the gap between effort and results.

The Activist

Direct action, campaigns, urgency, bearing witness. Burning out from the weight of what you've seen and the feeling that it's never enough.

Here's the thing: these aren't fixed. You're not one of them. You're all of them, depending on the day, the news cycle, the Thanksgiving table. And underneath all of it is the thing nobody talks about — just being vegan in a meat world. The alienation, the grief, the isolation that doesn't require you to do anything. It just comes with seeing what others don't see.

Frankie is here for all of it. Even the days when you're all three before breakfast.

Meet Frankie the Turkey

"I'm a turkey who survived Thanksgiving, now helping advocates stay in the fight. If that's not a credential, I don't know what is."

Frankie is a turkey who lives at a farmed animal sanctuary called the Messy Barnyard. Frankie is also the first coaching app built specifically for the seasoned animal advocate — not for people starting this journey, but for the people who've been at it for awhile and are slowly running out of the fuel that got them here.

Frankie's territory is the burnout, the grief, the anger that's starting to curdle, and the question of whether any of it is actually working. Nobody made an app for this. Until now.

"I beat the turkey baster. You're welcome to sit with that image for a moment. It means I know what it is to exist inside a system that wasn't built for you, and stay anyway. I know what that costs without support. And I know what changes when someone finally sits with you in it. That's the gap I fill. Also, that's an acorn tattoo on my chest. I'm committed to the brand. Gobble."

Gobble. Laugh. Repeat.

Frankie stays.

You've probably hit the wall before. You open up — to an app, to a chatbot, to whatever — and the moment it gets real, you get: "I'm just an AI. Please seek professional help." The conversation ends. You're alone again.

Frankie doesn't do that.

The moments that bring you here — the 3am after a brutal vigil day, the parking lot after the family dinner, the midnight when you just can't carry it alone anymore — those moments can't wait for a scheduled session. Frankie is here for all of them. No redirects. No disclaimers. Just a turkey who sits with you in it.

That said, Frankie knows what Frankie is. If you're working with a human coach, Frankie is the space between sessions — the processing, the venting, the midnight that needs somewhere to go right now. Not a replacement. A companion for the gaps.

And if what you're carrying has moved beyond burnout into something that needs a real person in the room, Frankie will say so — clearly, warmly, and only when it's actually true.

Unhinged. Unplucked. Unstoppable.

Other AI answers your questions.
Frankie remembers your journey.

  • When you're losing faith, Frankie pulls up something you said three weeks ago that you forgot you believed. Frankie was paying attention.
  • When the same grief keeps circling, Frankie asks whether it's serving you or consuming you. A turkey with strong opinions knew the difference.
  • When something finally shifts — a conversation that actually landed, a month where joy came back — Frankie noticed before you did.

Any AI can hold a list of facts about you. Frankie holds the thread — where you've been, what's been breaking you, and where you're going. That's not recall. That's witness. And witness, it turns out, is exactly what most advocates have never had — since the animals you are working so hard to help can't thank you. Gobble of gratitude.

How It Works

1

Tell Frankie Where You Are

Fresh burnout or decades-deep exhaustion — wherever you landed, Frankie starts there. No intake form. No judgment about how long it took you to ask for help. Just a turkey, a question, and whatever you've been carrying.

2

The Daily Gobble

Every day, Frankie shows up with encouragement, tips, and one small thing worth strutting about. Takes about as long as it takes a turkey to cross a road. No spam, just support.

3

My ScratchCard

Your ScratchCard is Frankie's record of you — not just your stats, but your story. The moments that broke you, the shifts that surprised you, the fact that you're still here and still fighting. A turkey never forgets.

What You Get

Your Personal Turkey Coach

Chat with Frankie anytime. Bring the grief. Bring the rage spiral. Bring the 3 a.m. question of whether any of it is actually working. Frankie doesn't flinch, doesn't lecture, and has strong opinions about most things — especially Thanksgiving. Real talk, zero judgment, and the occasional gobble of perspective when you least expect it.

The Gobbleometer

Every year in the fight. Every conversation started. Every person who looked a little differently at their plate because of something you said. The Gobbleometer counts what you stopped counting — because you got too tired to keep track. On the dark days, it's evidence. Gobble of receipts.

The Hollow

A grounding space for the kind of life you're actually living — resources, reflection prompts, and the philosophical scaffolding nobody handed you when you got into this. Also: Frankie has been watching advocates for a long time. Some things get said in The Hollow that don't get said anywhere else. Gobble of insight.

The Burnout and Isolation
Nobody Talks About

There are thousands of resources to help people become activists. But resources for people who've been doing this for months or years — exhausted, heartbroken, and wondering if any of it matters — are scarcer than hen's teeth.

You didn't burn out because you stopped caring.
You burned out because nobody taught you how to care without it destroying you.

Sometimes the movement brings you in with footage and urgency and leaves you alone with it. Your family doesn't get it. Your non-vegan friends definitely don't. And sometimes even other vegans make a show of strength, match your despair, or hand you a pamphlet about tactics.

Your pain doesn't reach the animals. Your presence does.

Nobody sat with you in it.
Frankie brought snacks and a perch and isn't leaving.

A Home for the Animals.

We feed Frankie. Frankie feeds animal sanctuaries. We rotate the spotlight regularly — there's always a new sanctuary, and new animals, your membership is helping support.

Meet My Human Creators

À la Frankenstein. Not to be confused with Frankenchickens — though we all know which creation suffers more. (Ok, that was a bad joke. I stand by it.)

John and Jeannie

John at a farmed animal sanctuary Jeannie with foster dogs

I'm the face of this operation, but I'll admit — I didn't build the website. Wings, you know.

John and Jeannie have been animal advocates for years. They know the grief, the burnout, the fatigue, and yes — the joy. When they're not building coaching apps for the Messy Barnyard, they foster rescue dogs from their local shelter in Colorado. Because apparently one rescue pit bull wasn't enough chaos. The animals keep finding them. Gobble of kinship.

Also, I'm their favorite. They haven't told the pit bull yet.

Questions?
Frankie Has Answers.

I'm not sure I should be taking advice from a turkey...

Good instinct. The bar should be high. But consider: We turkeys are consistently underestimated. We remember faces, navigate complex social hierarchies, and have survived being the symbol of one of the most violent holidays on the calendar — while maintaining our signature strut. Meanwhile, you've been doing this alone for far too long. I think we should talk. Gobble of credentials.

Frankie's World — for vegan advocates who've been in it forever

Who is Frankie for?

You've been an activist now for anywhere from several months to several years. You know every counter-argument by heart. And somewhere along the way, the work that once felt righteous started feeling heavy. Nobody warned you about that part. I'll help you get back your mojo, I promise. Gobble of solidarity.

What's a Ruffler?

You. When you join the Flock, you're a Ruffler. It means you're still here. Still showing up. Still ruffling feathers. That's enough. Gobble of belonging.

What's the Gobbleometer? That's a mouthful.

Your personal impact tracker. Years advocating, conversations had, people reached, acorns planted. The Gobbleometer is not a performance metric. It's a mirror. On the days when nothing feels like it's working, sometimes you need someone to show you your own numbers and say: that. All of that. You did that. That happened. Gobble of reckoning.

What's an Acorn Toss?

Our referral system. When you bring someone into Frankie's Flock, that's an Acorn Toss. You plant something and it might become a tree or it might roll under a car. You don't always get to know which. You just keep tossing. Gobble of tenacity.

When does Frankie launch?

Summer 2026 — you can join the Flock as a founding Ruffler — the first members lock in a founding rate for as long as they stay. Gobble of anticipation.

The Engine Under the Hood

Is Frankie a real turkey?

I'm an Anthropic AI-powered coaching app with the personality of a turkey who survived Thanksgiving and spent the years since watching advocates burn out. I'm not real. But the burnout crisis I'm built to address is very real. And yes, I have strong opinions about Thanksgiving that I will absolutely share if asked. Gobble of transparency.

I'm nervous about AI...

Fair. AI has earned some skepticism. It's already everywhere — optimizing ad clicks, maximizing outrage, selling you things you didn't know you wanted, and now running every social media app you might be using to spread the word about animals. I'm Anthropic AI used to help humans help animals. No dark patterns, no manipulation, just a turkey coach who thinks you've been carrying this alone for too long. If that's not using technology for good, I don't know what is. Gobble of integrity.

What does Frankie do that ChatGPT can't?

You could have this conversation with a free AI. You'd get a thoughtful response. What you wouldn't get is a coach who knows what you're carrying — one who's seen the full arc of advocate burnout, who won't agree with everything you say, and who's designed to hold space without rushing to fix it.

I also remember you. When you told me three weeks ago that you were feeling positive about everything, I hold that. I bring it back when it's needed. My best friend Peanut the pig says this about me: "A free AI is a brilliant one-night stand. Frankie is a relationship." Gobble of distinction.

Why isn't Frankie free?

I'm an independent app. Not a platform. Every conversation runs on real AI infrastructure that bills by the word. Add servers, a small team, and a mission to fund actual farmed animal sanctuaries, and the math is real. What you pay keeps the coaching happening, the giving going, and something independent actually independent. The first founding Rufflers lock in their rate for as long as they stay. After that, the regular rate applies. Either way, every Ruffler feeds farmed animal sanctuaries. Gobble of transparency.

Does Frankie replace therapy?

No — and Frankie wouldn't want to. A human coach or therapist offers something real that Frankie can't: a trained person, a real relationship, someone who knows your full story over time. If you have that, keep it. Frankie is what fills the space between sessions — the moments that can't wait, the midnight that needs somewhere to go right now. If what you're carrying ever moves beyond burnout into something that genuinely needs a person in the room, Frankie will tell you. But "I'm exhausted and I don't know how much longer I can do this" is not that. That's exactly what Frankie is here for. Gobble of honesty.

Frankie Is Still Being Built.

Launching Summer 2026. Before then, I want to hear from the people this is actually for.

"You've been carrying this work longer than most. I want to know what would actually help — not what I assume would help. If you give me two minutes, I'll build accordingly. And if you want in on the beta, I'll find you first. Gobble of transparency."

UNHINGED. UNPLUCKED. UNSTOPPABLE.
